V-8, Anyone?
This evening I was drinking some V-8 and decided to see if Sophie liked it. I'll let you be the judge!

Trendy Toddler?
I know large sunglasses are in right now, but this is just a little bit of rediculous if you ask me...

Doin' his business like a real man
I have only half heartedly attempted to potty-train Weston so far... I really don't think he's ready yet, but he does have some interest. So, a couple of times a day we sit on the potty, particularly when I think he might be about to do his business.
Usually, he doesn't have the patience to sit there long enough to actually go. That is, until yesterday. I gave him a magazine to look at, in an attempt to keep him sitting there for a few extra minutes... and it worked! The only problem was, he didn't want to get off the toilet. I love this first picture, because of the intent look on his face, as though he were actually reading!

Athletic Shopping
Athletic Shopping should be a competitive event. I think it would be great for teenagers. You could put them in a store, preferably a department store with lots of sections, some full of breakable items. Each teenager would be in charge of one toddler, preferably a tired one - tired and all wound up. They would be given a list of items to find, all very specific so that it takes a good hour to complete without kids.
Then, anyone who completed the event successfully without injuring their assigned toddler (or anyone else's) could be a winner...
Forget safe sex. They wouldn't even want to take the risk after that experience. I think it would be an effective method of promoting abstinence.
Has anyone else had any insane shopping trips lately with their little one(s) besides me???
I think I ran like 20 laps around Steinmart yesterday chasing Weston! You know it's bad when your mom suggests getting a babysitter before shopping together next time! :)

The Hug Me Pillow
So, I was just searching google images for something when I found this:

It is from an online store called Apartment Therapy, whose goal is to "save the world, one room at a time"
Under the picture was this description:
The Hug Me pillow provides comfort as well as piece of mind; Unique shape provides firm sleeping support.
Isn't that kind of creepy, and yet incredibly funny? I guess I needed a good chuckle, because it made me laugh right out loud! Do you think anyone would really want to sleep with this thing?
