Videos for the Grandparents

We spent this last weekend up in Bear Lake with my brother Mike and his family. A very long post will be short in coming, but for now, I wanted to share a few short videos of the cousins hanging out together (for my parents).

My very own American Idol

Both my kids love to sing and dance. Sophie mostly just sings the words "rock and roll" over and over again while going around and around in circles... something she learned from her brother. Weston, on the other hand, sings about just about anything. He also recently learned the term "bootie shake" which is just what he was doing when I ran to get the camera to record. However, when I came back, he had moved on to his newest musical masterpiece...

Beautiful Baby Lady

Oh how we adore this precious little lady! Here she is looking very serious as she models a darling sweater that my mom's cousin knitted for her. Isn't it perfect on her?The kidletsWeston can't seem to get enough of his little sister... sometimes he has to contain his excitement to avoid hurting her. I thought this picture pretty well captured that dynamic!Nothing like a swing to produce sweet dreams...Look at those cutely pursed lips!Sophie is a sheer pleasure... I often wish I had nothing else to do but hold her and love her all day!

Infectious Laugh

There is something so irresistable about baby giggles! Even though Weston isn't really a baby anymore, I still find great satisfaction and enjoyment in his sweet laughter...

While this video is mostly for the grandparents who don't have the opportunity to see Weston very often, I'm certain it will make the rest of you smile too!
