One week and an hour ago, I had just given birth to this beautiful creature. I felt great, and I can't wait to tell the birth story... it's kind of like a scene out of a movie - rather dramatic! But for now, I want to share some pictures from this past week.
These two pictures were taken about an hour after birth:
I love his expression here - like he's surveying a very important project. This is the funny little grin he flashed when I asked him to smile at the camera. What a silly kid. I love him! Sophie's ready to eat, which means this blog post must come to an end, but stay tuned for the birth story and many more pictures to come!!

24 hours later: Here is Weston's new favorite past time: holding his little sister and giving her kisses Who can blame him? It's pretty much impossible not to love this bundle of goodness!
As for Weston, he has spent a lot of time outside playing - mostly digging in the dirt. OH!!!!!!!!!! I love that she was still curled up in that one picture just as she was inside you! I can't get enough of that new kitten smell the newborns have before they've had their first REAL bath. Congrats, she is adorable and I'm glad s he is here safe and sound. Isn't it so funny to look at TWO little faces now? P.s. I think it is ironic the word verification for this comment was "ovaryn"
